WASHINGTON: Key UN and Non-UN Bodies Included in US Exit From International Organizations, Affecting Climate, Development, and Governance Institutions.

The Trump administration has confirmed that the United States will depart from 66 international organizations, nearly half of which are affiliated with the United Nations, according to a list released by the White House.

The move follows a comprehensive review of U.S. participaion in global institutions and reflects the administration’s broader reassessment of multilateral engagement.

Many of the organizations identified focus on climate change, labor standards, migration, governance, energy, and social development—areas the administration has said increasingly reflect diversity-focused or “woke” initiatives that no longer align with U.S. policy priorities.

Officials say the decision is aimed at streamlining international involvement and redirecting resources toward institutions and initiatives that more directly serve American strategic interests, according to AP.
