ALULA, Saudi Arabia: Panelists at a discussion on the Palestinian cause have stressed the importance of ending the war in Gaza and humanitarian suffering, while supporting efforts to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid into the Palestinian enclave.

According to a statement by the Saudi Foreign Ministry on Thursday, the discussion deliberated on peace pathways between Palestine and Israel during the Munich Security Conference Leaders’ Meeting in AlUla, Saudi Arabia.

It addressed the latest developments regarding the war in the Gaza Strip, efforts to achieve a ceasefire, and related international initiatives.

The session was attended by Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Prime Minister of the State of Palestine Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, via video conference, and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean-Noël Barrot.

It also highlighted the declarations made by numerous countries recognising the State of Palestine, as part of advancing the implementation of the two-state solution and enhancing stability in the region.

The session also stressed the need to implement all relevant international resolutions, end humanitarian suffering, and support efforts to ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

It highlighted the Two-State Solution Conference, co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France, which achieved a broad international consensus on the importance of upholding the conference’s declaration—promoting peace, prosperity, and a resolution to the long-standing Palestinian–Israeli conflict.
