ISLAMABAD: The Asia Cup 2025 trophy was officially unveiled in Dubai on Tuesday, with Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi attending the ceremony.
Captains from all eight participating nations — Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Hong Kong, and Oman — were present at the event and posed with the trophy for official photographs.

During the unveiling, the ACC president welcomed each captain personally, shaking hands and sharing brief exchanges.
Following the presentation, team captains addressed the media, answering questions and expressing confidence in their squads ahead of the highly anticipated tournament.
15th edition
The 15th edition of the men’s Asia Cup will be played in the T20 International format. The eight competing teams are split into two groups.
Group A comprises hosts UAE, Pakistan, India, and Oman. India’s campaign begins on 10 September against the UAE in Dubai, followed by a blockbuster clash with Pakistan on 14 September, also in Dubai, and a final group match against Oman in Abu Dhabi on 19 September.
Group B features Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage, with the top two sides from that round meeting in the final on 28 September.
