This emphatic win also marked the West Indies’ biggest-ever ODI victory over Pakistan in terms of runs, as they bowled out the visitors for a mere 92 runs and secured a resounding 202-run win in the third ODI. The previous highest margin was a 150-run triumph, also against Pakistan, in Christchurch back in 2015.
West Indies’ Largest ODI Victory Margins Against Pakistan:
202 runs – Tarouba, 2025
150 runs – Christchurch, 2015
133 runs – Sydney, 1992
124 runs – Durban, 1993
110 runs – Sharjah, 2002
This triumph also brought an end to a dismal run of 10 consecutive ODI series defeats against Pakistan. It is being hailed as a landmark moment for West Indies cricket.
The last time the West Indies emerged victorious in an ODI series against Pakistan was in November 1991, during their tour of Pakistan. That series, featuring legendary captains Richie Richardson and Imran Khan, ended 2-0 in favour of the visitors, with the second ODI ending in a tie.
Claiming ODI series
Pakistan’s white-ball tour of the West Indies proved eventful for both sides. Pakistan secured the T20I series 2-1 under the captaincy of Salman Ali Agha, but the hosts completely outplayed them in the 50-over format to claim the ODI series in convincing fashion.

Justin Greaves gave vital support, scoring a quickfire 43 off 24 deliveries, as the pair shared a 110-run partnership. Valuable contributions also came from Evin Lewis (37) and Roston Chase (36), further strengthening the total.

In reply, Pakistan’s batting line-up crumbled, being dismissed for just 92 runs in 29.2 overs. Salman Ali Agha was the top scorer with 30 off 49 balls, while Mohammad Nawaz remained unbeaten on 23.
Hasan Nawaz chipped in with 13, but the rest of the top order faltered badly, with Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, Mohammad Rizwan, Hasan Ali, and Abrar Ahmed all departing without troubling the scorers.
