MADINAH: The Children’s Nursery Centre near the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah has provided care for 9,245 children of pilgrims visiting the mosque in 2024.
The initiative of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque helps Umrah performers and visitors to pray and worship with ease and comfort, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
The centre serves children between the ages of two and nine, with the capacity to accommodate up to 100 children per hour.
It provides age-appropriate educational programmes and activities designed to nurture religious and cultural values.
Operating 24/7, the centre features a secure drop-off and pickup system linked to parents’ identification, ensuring children’s safety at all times.
This round-the-clock service offers a safe and comfortable environment, allowing parents to perform their religious rituals with peace of mind while their children participate in enriching and engaging activities.
