ISLAMABAD: An IndiGo flight en route from Kochi to Delhi made an emergency landing in Nagpur on Tuesday morning following a bomb threat, according to Hindustan Times.
The flight 6E 2706 was en route from Muscat-Kochi to Delhi, India media reported. All passengers have been deboarded safely.
Indian media cited DCP Nagpur, Lohit Matani as saying, “An IndiGo flight 6E 2706 from Muscat – Kochi – Delhi made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport after a bomb threat was received.

In another incident, passengers onboard a Mumbai-bound Air India flight were forced to deplane on Tuesday after the aircraft faced a technical snag in one of its engines, according to India media.

The plane en route from San Francisco to Mumbai landed in Kolkata at 12.45 am. According to reports, the flight was supposed to depart for Mumbai at 2 am when a technical issue was detected during the scheduled halt, according to media reports.
Indian media reports that amid current technical challenges, Air India faced another major setback on Monday (June 16, 2025) after an Ahmedabad-bound flight was cancelled. Air India’s flight AI2493 from Mumbai to Ahmedabad was cancelled after facing delays due to operational issues, according to news agency ANI.
Reuters reported that more than 290 people, including 241 passengers, were killed when an Air India plane bound for London with 242 people on board crashed onto a medical college hostel minutes after taking off from the western city of Ahmedabad on Thursday, Reuters reported while citing a police officer.
