RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan has condemned the “blatant Israeli aggression” against Iran.
During a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, on Friday, Prince Faisal affirmed the Kingdom’s rejection of the use of force and stressed the importance of dialogue to address disputes.
In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said the foreign minister also emphasised that the Israeli attack undermines efforts aimed at de-escalation and reaching diplomatic solutions.

Earlier, the Iranian administration announced that Iran will avenge the blood of every single individual killed in Israeli strikes.
“As of this moment, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s government has begun the necessary defensive, political, and legal measures to make the illegitimate Israel regret (its aggression) and will deny the Israelis a moment’s rest,” it said in a statement.
Israel carried out strikes against Iran on Friday, targeting its nuclear and military sites. Israeli army says 200 jets were involved in Iran raids, striking about 100 targets.

Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami, and other military and civilian figures were assassinated in Israeli strikes in Tehran.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned Israel it faced a “bitter and painful” fate over the attack, which also killed a senior Guards commander according to Iranian media.
The United States underlined that it was not involved in the Israeli action, and warned Tehran not to attack its personnel or interests.
