Rafale Maker’s Share Price Falls as Pakistan Downs Five Indian Jets

ISLAMABAD: The shares of Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) at Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) jumped by 17 per cent in a few hours, while Rafale company share price is going down after Pakistan’s reports of downing five Indian aircrafts, local media reported.

The Rafale fighter jets used by the Indian Air Force are made by Dassault Aviation company. Three of the five Indian aircrafts shot down were Rafale jets. The Dassault Aviation company’s share price fell on Wednesday.

Shares of Chengdu Aircraft Corporation

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has confirmed that five Indian fighter jets were shot down in retaliation for late-night strikes by India.

Conversely, the share price of Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC), the makers of the JF-17 Thunder and J-10 used by Pakistan Air Force, rose on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange by 17.05 per cent on Wednesday, at time of closing.
