ISLAMABAD: Three teenage girls in Texas allegedly attempted to attack their mother with kitchen knives after she switched off the Wi-Fi, according to local authorities.
The siblings, aged 14, 15, and 16, are said to have “coordinated a plan to try and kill” their mother, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported, according to ABC News.
Following the Wi-Fi being turned off, the teenagers allegedly armed themselves with kitchen knives and chased their mother through their home in Houston and out onto the street, the sheriff stated.
Knocking over grandmother
One of the girls reportedly hurled a brick, striking their 39-year-old mother on the ankle, while their 70-year-old grandmother was knocked over as she tried to protect her daughter, according to the sheriff’s office.
Fortunately, both the mother and grandmother sustained only minor injuries.
All three girls were arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
They are currently being held at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Centre, the sheriff’s office confirmed.
