Pakistan Navy Takes Part in Multinational Naval Exercise Komodo-25 in Indonesia

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Navy ship ASLAT took part in Multinational Naval Komodo 25 exercise in Bali, Indonesia, Pakistan military’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Navy ship Aslat is currently on an Overseas Deployment. The statement said that the navies of 38 countries took part in the Komodo 25 exercise in Bali.

The ISPR said that the active participation of the Pakistan Navy in the Multinational Naval exercise reflects the determination for regional peace and stability.

Regional Maritime Security Patrols

“The exercise started with a grand Fleet Review, where PNS ASLAT, alongside other warships showcased naval capabilities and demonstrated interoperability,” the ISPR said.

Before taking part in the exercise, PNS ASLAT also visited Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The statement said that the commanding officer of PNS ASLAT called on the commander of the Western Naval Area and other senior military officials, according to the ISPR.

It said that Pakistan Navy ships are regularly deployed for the Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP).

The visit of PNS Aslat to Sri Lanka and Indonesia will significantly contribute to enhancing naval collaboration between the friendly nations,” the statement further said.
