ISTANBUL: A bus accident left at least 18 passengers dead and injured 21 others in Nepal on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at Bethanchok Rural Municipality in the central Kavre district when at least 39 people were travelling on the bus, said officials.
Passengers were to attend a religious event
Chairman of Bethanchok Rural Municipality, Bhagwan Adhikari said the bus was carrying people who were there to attend a religious ceremony. The deceased are yet to be identified.
As many as 12 people lost their lives in another accident in the Chhedagad Municipality of the western Jajrkot district on Monday. — APP
