LONDON, England: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called on allies to stop worrying about Donald Trump’s potential return to the White House, asserting that the former U.S. president understands the stakes of the Ukraine war.

During a meeting in London with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Rutte expressed confidence that Trump recognizes the war’s importance for global and U.S. security.

Concerns have grown within NATO that a Trump presidency could lead to reduced support for Ukraine. However, Rutte, a staunch Ukraine supporter, dismissed these fears, urging focus on unity instead.
