KSrelief Continues Humanitarian Work Across Yemen, Lebanon, Sudan

RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) continues its humanitarian work by distributing relief aid across Yemen, Lebanon and Sudan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

The KSrelief distributed 158 shelter bags and 92 tents in the Al Sabran camp, located in the Al-Madina District of Yemen, benefiting 948 individuals from 158 families. The initiative is part of the Kingdom’s continuous humanitarian efforts, led by KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Meanwhile, the ambulance service of the Subul Al Salam Social Association in the Miniyeh district of Lebanon, funded by the KSrelief, conducted 59 ambulance missions in the past week.

These missions included shifting patients to and from hospitals and providing emergency services to those wounded in accidents in the city of Miniyeh.

This program is part of a broader project to support ambulance services and transport in refugee areas and host communities in Lebanon.

In Sudan, KSrelief has distributed 500 food baskets in Dongola locality, Northern State, Sudan, benefiting 5,105 family members affected by flash floods and heavy rains. This effort is part of the second phase of the 2024 food security support project in Sudan.

This initiative is an extension of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, its humanitarian arm, to help the Sudanese people during the various crises and hardships they are facing.
