TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s Foreign Affairs Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Al-Thani in Tehran for discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing pressing regional issues.
During the talks, the two leaders focused on the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly efforts to mediate a ceasefire amid ongoing hostilities. The conversation also touched upon broader tensions in the Middle East, highlighting the shared concern for stability in the region.
This meeting marked Sheikh Mohammed Al-Thani as Araghchi’s first foreign guest since assuming the role of Iran’s Foreign Affairs Minister, underscoring the significance of Qatar-Iran relations in the context of regional diplomacy.
