DUBAI: Pakistan will face India on October 6 as International Cricket Council (ICC) announced a revised schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. Pakistan kickstart their campaign against Sri Lanka on October 3 in Sharja.

The mega event, originally scheduled to be held in Bangladesh, was moved out of the country by the ICC due to the current political situation in the South Asian country. Ten nations will play 23 matches in the UAE.
Group A includes Pakistan, Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, while Group B comprises England, Bangladesh, West Indies, South Africa, and Scotland. Each side will compete in four group matches, scheduled in the UAE.
The top two sides from each Group will play the second-placed team from the opposite Group. First semi-final will be played in Dubai on 17 October while second semi-final in Sharjah on 18 October. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup champions will be crowned at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 20 October. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will maintain its hosting rights while partnering with the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to ensure the successful delivery of the mega event.
