JEDDAH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Monday dispatched two relief ships from Jeddah Islamic Port to provide assistance to the brotherly Palestinian and Sudanese people, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The eighth relief ship destined for Palestine is laden with essential supplies including food baskets, shelter materials, generators, and heavy machinery such as bulldozers, water tankers, and forklifts.
It is set to dock at El-Arish Port in Egypt. This shipment adds to the ongoing aid efforts, which have already seen the delivery of over 6,500 tons of aid via eight ships and 50 planes to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Simultaneously, the 31st relief ship bound for Sudan carries a cargo of food, shelter, and medical provisions, en route to the port of Suakin.
So far, 31 ships and 13 planes have delivered over 14 tons of aid to the Sudanese people.
