ISLAMABAD: Educational institutions have resumed their operations following a magnificent week-long respite of Eid-ul-Fitr festivities across Pakistan. Both the public and private sectors educational institutions had previously declared a break extending until the 13th of April 2024 to celebrate Eid. However, as the dawn of April 15, 2024, illuminated the horizon, Monday marked the collective return to educational endeavors.
In the lively province of Punjab, encompassing vibrant cities like Lahore, the educational realm was once again abuzz with activity, albeit with a slight modification in schedule. The resumption of educational activities signaled a new era of structured learning, accompanied by adjusted timings to accommodate the changing tides of routine. From Monday through Thursday, the halls of academia resonate with the chatter of eager minds from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, whereas on the venerable day of Friday, the scholarly pursuits conclude by noon, at 12 pm precisely.
Schools in upper Chitral will remain closed till April 17 due to severe weather in the region. The district administration has decided to close the educational institutions for the safety of students and teachers due to intense rainfall and flooding in the area.
