3000 Sikh Yatrees to Arrive Pakistan Today to Attend Besakhi Mela

LAHORE:  More than 3000 Sikh yatrees from India will arrive Pakistan to take part in Besakhi Mela, local media reported on Saturday.

Radio Pakistan reported that they will arrive Pakistan through Wagha border to participate in the Mela.

A spokesperson of Evacuee Trust Property Board, said that Sikh yatrees will be received by high officials of the Board and leaders of Sikh community.

Sikh Yatrees Arrive Pakistan to Attend Besakhi Mela

The spokesperson stated that yatrees will visit their religious places during their stay in Pakistan. It added that special trains have been arranged to facilitate them to visit Hassanabdal, Nankana Sahib, Narowal and Badami Bagh.

All the arrangements including security, accommodation, medical and transport for Sikh yatrees have been made by Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).

Talking to media, officials of Evacuee Trust Property Board stated that they are making arrangements to facilitate Sikh yarthrees during their stay in Pakistan.
