BRUSSELS: Pakistan and the European Union on Friday affirmed their commitment to enhance bilateral relations in accordance with the Strategic Engagement Plan 2019.
The consensus was reached during a meeting between Pakistan Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell Fontelles, in Brussels.
The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the 3rd Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels. Both parties expressed their intent to strengthen their ties, aligning with the objectives outlined in the Strategic Engagement Plan of 2019.

The ministry said in the post that they discussed global and regional issues, with an emphasis on the significance of diplomatic efforts in resolving disputes. Both parties underscored the necessity of forging partnerships to address the various challenges on a global scale.
