RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated a project to give away a total of 26,730 food baskets to needy families in Yemen’s Taiz Governorate, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

The project will be implemented in six different phases, and during each phase 4,455 food baskets will be distributed.

The project comes as part of a wider food aid project in Yemen for the year 2023 which aims at providing 119,394 food baskets. It would benefit 170,478 individuals in Yemen’s governorates of Aden, Lahij, and Dhal.
