ISLAMABAD: A second chartered aircraft carrying 89.6 tons of humanitarian and medical assistance from the government and people of Pakistan for the brotherly people of Gaza arrived at El-Arish international Airport, Egypt, a foreign ministry statement said on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan sent off the special flight from Islamabad.

Palestine’s ambassador in Pakistan Ahmed Jawad Rabi’i, and senior officials of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) were present on the occasion.
FM Jilani said Pakistan was sending humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza who were persistently facing oppression by the Israeli security forces.
He expressed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the people of Palestinian and condemned Israel’s brutal and indiscriminate use of force against civilians, including women and children, currently trapped in Gaza.
Aid handed over to Egyptian Red Crescent Society for delivery
The relief assistance has been handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for delivery to Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza.

Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Jawad Rabi’i on the occasion thanked the government of Pakistan for the relief items and said the people in Gaza were facing extreme difficulties.
Earlier a special aircraft carrying 81 tons of humanitarian and medical assistance from Pakistan arrived at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt on 19 October 2023.
