Gold Price Decreases by Rs.15,500 to Rs.199,500 Per Tola in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: After an interval of about one month, the bullion market in Pakistan opened on Tuesday with a decline in the per tola price of 24 karats of gold to witnessed a decrease of Rs. 15,500 and was sold at Rs. 199,500 against its sale at Rs.215,000 on September 09, 2023. 

The price of 10 grams of 24 karats of the precious metal also went down by Rs.13,546 to settle at Rs.171,039 from the previous rate of Rs.184,585, whereas the prices of 10 grams of 22 karats of gold decreased to Rs.156,786 from its last month price of Rs.168,967, according to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported. 

Like the yellow metal price of the white metal (silver) for the per tola and 10 grams also went down by Rs.50 and Rs 42.87 to settle at Rs.2,500 and Rs.2,143.34, respectively. 

Gold Price in International Market

Like the local market, the price of gold in the international market also witnessed a decline and went down by $55 to settle at $1,856 per ounce from its previous rate of $1,911.

Earlier last month, the traders refrained from issuing gold rates in the local market due to fear of a crackdown continuing in the country. Due to the unavailability of proper rates, the gold was available at random rates in the market. However, from Tuesday, the regular rates resumed.
