SRINAGAR: In a powerful denouncement of Israel’s relentless aggression against the Palestinian people, Senior APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, is urging the international community to take immediate action to prevent further bloodshed in the Middle East.
From within the confines of Tihar jail, Shah expressed his deep concern over the tragic and destructive situation that has been unfolding in Palestine. He lamented the world’s seemingly indifferent stance in the face of the appalling suffering and loss of life endured by the Palestinian population at the hands of Israel.

Shah emphasized that the immense scale of death and destruction demands the awakening of global consciousness. He drew a parallel between the struggles of Kashmir and Palestine, highlighting the shared narrative of both regions facing the brutal erasure of their identity by colonizers.
Appealing to the international community, Shah urged influential world governments to abandon partisanship and actively engage in seeking a lasting solution to the ongoing conflict in the region. He stressed that it is critical for these influential powers to step forward and mediate, putting an end to the senseless loss of tens of thousands of lives in recent years.
Furthermore, Shah emphasized the urgent need for the world to break its silence on the Kashmir issue, where the people have been suppressed by India’s apartheid regime, mirroring Israel’s approach. He underscored the striking similarities between the suffering of the Palestinians and the Kashmiris—both facing violence, loss of lives, and the destruction of their homes.
Shah called upon the global community to recognize the gravity of the escalating conflict in the Middle East and to act decisively to resolve these longstanding disputes. He urged the world to abandon its policy of indifference and emphasized that the time has come to prioritize the resolution of these age-old conflicts, which not only threaten the affected regions but also pose a serious threat to global security.
