BURAIDAH: Saudi Arabi’s Qassim Health Cluster has said it is building 15 runways for different hospitals in the region to speedup the transportation of patients by air, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The project will be completed in collaboration with the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Qassim.
This project would ensure fast transportation and rapid aid to patients from basic hospitals to specialized health facilities and reference hospitals in the Al-Qassim region.

King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Buraidah, Buraidah Central Hospital, Al Rass Hospital, Almoznab Hospital and Al Quwarah Hospital are among the 11 hospitals in the area that have completed the construction of airstrips.
Work is also underway on runways for four other hospitals namely King Saud Hospital in Unaizah, Qbah Hospital, Al Nabhaniyah Hospital and AlAsyah Hospital.
