ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Uzbekistan on Tuesday agreed to further enhance the bilateral ties on the basis of mutual interest.
The Matters of Common Interest
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Aybek Arif Usmanov called on Minister for Education Rana Tanveer Hussain here in Islamabad. The matters of common interest were discussed in the meeting.
Rana Tanveer Hussain said the future lies in the vocational training of the population of Pakistan. Pakistan and Uzbekistan, through the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, should exchange teachers and students to learn from the expertise of each other.
Ambassador Usmanov informed the education minister that Uzbekistan would host the Second World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education (WCECCE), co-organized with UNESCO, scheduled to be held from December 14 to 16 in Uzbekistan.
