CAIRO: Two oil tankers collided in the Suez Canal on Wednesday causing no disruption to traffic, said ship tracking company Marine Traffic.
The Singapore-flagged BW Lesmes and Cayman Islands-flagged Burri collided in the canal in Egypt.

Reuters reported that the LNG tanker BW Lesmes is expected to be towed to the Suez anchorage after a brief stop in Egypt’s Suez Canal.
There has been no official communication from the Suez Canal Authority about the incident.
Suez Canal is a major sea way that connects the Mediterranean Sea with the Red Sea. It is a lifeline of global trade and facilitates the transit of 12% of the world’s total trade volume.
