ISLAMABAD: At least eight people were injured, including three in critical condition, in a terror attack near the Pak-Afghan border, local media reported on Sunday.
It said the incident took place at the house of an Assistant Sub-Inspector, Ameenullah in the Dandi Seedgi area of tehsil Ghulam Khan in North Waziristan where unidentified individuals forced their entry into the house and opened fire.
Injured transported to Miranshah hospital
Tragically, even the vehicle dispatched to shift the injured to the hospital was hit by an explosion, causing additional injuries, the reports said. The victims have been transported to Miranshah hospital for treatment. The police have arrived at the spot and the area has been cordoned off.
Acording to the details, a group of terrorists attacked the house of the policeman. The family of the ASI bravely fought the terrorists and forced them to flee. In exchange of fire with the outlaws, eight people, including women and ASI Ameenullah got injured.
