6 Killed in Israeli Attack in West Bank

RAMALLAH: An Israeli assault in a Palestinian refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank left as many as six people dead and several others injured early Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.

In a statement, the ministry said that 6 people were killed by the occupation Israel and some who were seriously injured were shifted to a hospital in Tulkarem.

The official Palestinian news agency Wafa said that the six people were killed by Israeli attacks on the Nur Shams refugee camp near the town of Tulkarem, where Israeli troops were also deployed.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that around 300 Palestinian people in the West Bank have been killed by Israeli troops and settlers since the Gaza war started.

Meanwhile, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly denounced the continued Israeli military aggression, forcible displacement, genocide, and destruction perpetrated by Israel forces against the innocent Palestinians.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation also condemned the Israeli occupation forces for continuing to deprive Palestinians of medicine, food, medical care, water, protection, and other basic services.

The OIC also renewed its demand to the world to assume its responsibility and duty towards forcing a stop to the Israeli army aggression, ensuring delivery of humanitarian help to Gaza in a sufficient and sustainable manner, counter moves at forcible expulsion of Palestinians, and providing safety for the Palestinians, in execution of relevant United Nations resolutions.
