Center of Seismology (NCS) said.
It said the quake struck at 16:51:49 IST on Wednesday, at a depth of 160 kilometres.
The NCS in a post on social media plat form X, formerly twitter said the earthquake of magnitude 6.3, occurred on 04-10-2023 at 16:51 in Philippines.
Earlier in June, an earthquake shook some parts of the Philippines, southwest of Manila.
The US Geological Survey said that the 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck on Thursday morning near Hukay, about 120 kilometres (75 miles) below the earth’s surface.

Deep earthquakes are often felt but with less potential of major damage. Hukay is about 140 kilometers away from Manila.
Earlier, two strong earthquakes of magnitudes 6.2 and 4.6 shook Nepal on Tuesday, the National Centre for Seismology said, adding that the tremors were also felt in nearby states.
