In response to England’s first innings total of 283 runs, Steve Smith made 71 runs off 123 balls for the Australian side. However, Usman Khawaja scored 47 off 157 balls against the English team. Chris Woakes took 3 wickets for England, Mark Wood, Stuart Broad, and Joe Root scalped 2 dismissals each.
