Met Office Forecasts Dry Weather in Pakistan in next 24 Hours

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met) has predicted mainly dry weather in most parts of the country, while day temperatures are likely to increase in plain areas.

 Lowest Minimum recorded temperatures

The Met Office recorded the lowest minimum temperature of -06 degrees Celsius in Leh, -02 °C in Kalam and -01°C in Astore.

As per the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

Air Quality and Weather 

As per the air quality index (AQI), the air quality in Rawalpindi stands at 125 US AQI, 171 in Lahore, 170 in Mangla, 156 in Muridke, 199 in Faisalabad and 159 in Bahawalpur. In Sindh, the air quality stands 181 in Karachi, while Islamabad’s air quality stands at 165. In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, air quality is 172 in Peshawar and 65 in Abbottabad.

As per the Met Office, a maximum of 13 degrees °C temperature was recorded in Islamabad, 15 degrees °C in Lahore 20° degrees C in Karachi, 13 degrees °C in Peshawar 8 degrees °C in Quetta and 10 degrees °C in Gilgit.
