ISLAMABAD/JORDAN: Jordanian officials have said that three officers were killed in a raid on a hideout of the suspected killers of the policeman in the southern city of Maan, on Monday.
Petra News Agency said that the Public Security Directorate mourned the death of 3 officers and the wounding of 5 others during a operation this morning. The police said that one of the suspects, believed to be a militant, had been killed. The statement gave no further information.
Police officer killed in raid
Deputy police chief of Maan province, Brigadier Abdul Razzaq Dalabeh, was killed by gunfire in the head on Thursday while the authorities tried to calm down riots in the city of Al-Husseiniya.
