ISLAMABAD: Early on Friday, various regions of Balochistan, including Quetta, Mastung, and Sibi districts, experienced a 3.9 magnitude earthquake.
The Seismological Center reported the quake’s depth at 18 kilometers, and there have been no reports of damage from the area. Following the tremor, residents came out of their homes, reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
The earthquake’s epicenter was pinpointed as 32 km west of Mastung. Authorities have confirmed that no aftershocks were felt after the seismic activity. —APP
