25 Faculty Members from Baluchistan, Sindh Complete Three-week Development Program

KARACHI: The first phase of three-week National Faculty Development Programme (NFDP) for fresh faculty members of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of Balochistan and Sindh concluded at HEC Regional Center, Karachi.

Twenty-five members from higher education institutions in Balochistan and Sindh participated in the program. The program is aimed to accelerate the transfer of knowledge, skills, and attitudes in three dimensions of a bright career as a member, including teaching and learning, professional practice, and applied research.

Program to develop faculty members professionally

HEC’s Adviser (Academics, Curriculum & NAHE) Engr. Muhammad Raza Chohan virtually addressed the closing ceremony. He felicitated NAHE and the participating members on the successful completion of the program. 

Chohan said that NFDP’s core goals and course content is especially designed for fresh members of the HEIs. He said the professional development of teachers was beneficial for them to explore the potential of students as well as to work on their own academic leadership.
