ISLAMABAD: Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the fastest Indian and the second-fastest bowler globally to reach 200 wickets in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
He accomplished this feat during India’s Group A match against Bangladesh in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, held in Dubai on February 20, 2025. Shami’s achievement underscores his important role in India’s bowling line-up and his consistent performance on the international stage.
