DERA GHAZI KHAN: Two professors of Ghazi University Dera Ghazi Khan were arrested by police on the charges of raping a student.
The victim’s father has also been threatened by the said academicians and police have registered a separate case against them as the two were forcing the student’s father to withdraw the case.
The two professors from the Physics Department threatened to kill the victim’s father if the case is not withdrawn.
The student is her earlier complaint alleged that the professors were blackmailing her younger sister.
The university official has stated the two professors have been suspended and inquiry is going on and the university will take appropriate action.
It is pertinent to note the actual complaint against the said professors was lodged at the Citizen’s Portal on February 4, 2023 and now the case has been registered.
