BEIRUT: A Lebanese army helicopter crashed near Beirut during a training mission on Wednesday night, killing two crew members and injuring one, Arab media reported.
According to reports quoting Lebanese army the helicopter crashed near the mountain town of Hammana, however, no further details were given about the incident.

Lebanon is currently passing through its worst economic crisis that has also affected its army. The decade long corruption and mismanagement by country’s rulers are the main reasons for the poor economic situation of Lebanon.
The economic situation is also putting immense pressure on army’s operation capabilities with soldiers are not getting salaries on time.
