ISLAMABAD: An Accountability court in Islamabad once again deferred the indictment of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in a 190 million pound case.
The indictment was differed without any proceedings till February 23.
The accountability court judge had to conduct the case hearing at Adiala Jail. However, the newly-appointed judge, Nasir Javed Rana, has not yet taken charge.
In previous hearings, Judge Muhammad Bashir was not available. Therefore, the indictment was postponed. A new judge was appointed in place of Judge Muhammad Bashir, who has applied for long leave till his retirement.
The National Accountability Bureau had launched a probe against Imran Khan, his wife, and others for the alleged gain of hundreds of canals of land in the name of Al Qadir University Trust, which reportedly caused a loss of £190 million to the national exchequer.

As per the charges, Imran Khan and others accused allegedly adjusted 190 million pounds sent by the National Crime Agency of the UK to the government.
