LONDON: Fifteen leading students from across Saudi Arabia are attending summer camp training for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford in the United kingdom, Arab media reported on Thursday.
The camp for AI was launched by the Artificial Intelligence Authority, Saudi Data and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in coordination with the summer program of Lady Margaret Hall College at the University of Oxford.

The students will attend a series of educational programs in Artificial Intelligence over 8-week period.
The summer program is one of 3 launched by KAUST and SDAIA for undergraduates and secondary students between the campuses of University of Oxford and KAUST. The summer camp is also aimed at further enhancing students’ skills in natural language processing, and learning regarding graphical intelligence networks.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), launching the camps comes within the framework of SDAIA’s efforts in cooperation with KAUST in order to develop students abilities through specialized programs to attain the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
