PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority on Tuesday said that at least fifteen persons were killed and fourteen wounded in rain-related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) during the last four days.
About 83 houses were partially collapsed, and twelve completely destroyed as relief activities underway in the districts hit by rains, floods, and landslides, PDMA said.
Abdul Basit, Secretary Relief Department, said that 60 million rupees were released for the affected districts on the instructions of the provincial government.

He said vulnerable communities in Lower Chitral had been relocated to safer places, and food commodities were provided to the disaster-hit families.
Relief items, including plastic mats, kitchen sets, buckets, tents, mosquito nets, dewatering pumps, tarpaulin sheets, soap, pillows, wheelchairs, stretchers, hygiene kits, solar lights, quilts, mats, jerry cans, and sandbags, were dispatched to the districts of Upper Chitral and Lower Chitral, he added
