14-year Rigorous Imprisonment Awarded to Lashkar-e-Islam Bara Terrorist

PESHAWAR: A terrorist belonging to the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Islam Bara was awarded a sentence of 14-year rigorous prison term along with a PKR 10,000 penalty by the Counter Terrorism Court here on Tuesday.

Raid recovered pistol, cartridges, hand grenade

The Counter Terrorism Department arrested the terrorist during a raid on July 07, 2021. The CTD recovered a pistol along with cartridges together with a hand grenade.

Awarded jail term based on probe Rigorous, proofs

The court on the basis of the probe and the proof awarded terrorist Amin Shah a 14-year imprisonment along with a PKR10,000 fine under the Counter-Terrorism Act.

If the fine remains unpaid one month would be added to the imprisonment term. – APP
