14 Killed in Road Accident in China
CGTN reported that rescue workers rushed to the site after the accident and investigation into the cause is under way. The provincial public security bureau said that normal traffic has restored by now.
Traffic accidents are common in China because of lack of strict safety controls in the country. In February 2023, around 16 people were killed and dozens more wounded in a pile-up in Hunan province.
Similarly, the month before that, about nineteen people were killed and 20 injured in a road mishap in eastern Jiangxi province.
