PESHAWAR: Congo Virus has rung the alarm bells in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa as 14 cases of the fatal virus have been reported only in the province this year.
Provincial Health Department released a report on Thursday, revealing that four people died this year after getting infected with the Congo virus. Two of the dead belonged to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and two to Afghanistan.
According to the report, the majority of those with the virus were between the ages of 22 and 65 when they were diagnosed with the fever in the province, including one woman.
