ISLAMABAD: In a spectacular display of national pride and patriotism, 1,200 students from the Government High School in Pakpattan came together to form a massive human flag measuring 9,600 square feet on August 14 to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day.
The formation of the massive flag was a meticulously coordinated effort, with students dressed in traditional Pakistani attire to represent the green and white colors of the national flag.
The impressive display was witnessed by notable figures including MPA Chaudhry Javed Ahmed and MPA Motiya Masood Khalid, who were present to honor the students’ dedication and enthusiasm.
Deputy Commissioner Sadia Meher praised the initiative, stating, “This display of unity and patriotism is exactly what Pakistan needs at this time.”
She commended the students for their remarkable performance and acknowledged the crucial role played by the education department officials, teachers, and especially Dr. Abdullah Tabassum, who provided essential training and guidance to ensure the precise execution of the flag formation.
The successful creation of the human flag was not only a testament to the students’ teamwork but also reflected the efforts of the event’s organizers and the broader educational community. It highlighted the government’s ongoing initiative to instill a sense of national pride and unity among the younger generation as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
