100 Days of War in Gaza as Attacks Continue

GAZA: The war in Gaza has entered its 100th day on Sunday (today) with no end to the bloodshed in sight, Arab media reported. The conflict has been by far the bloodiest and most destructive chapter of fighting between Palestinians and Israelis in the history of their decades-long conflict.

Arab media reported that around 23,708 Palestinians were killed during the war in Gaza since October 7. It maintained that more than 1,300 people were also killed in Israel while 347 Palestinians were killed in the occupied West Bank during the last 100 days.

The report added that 45-56 percent of Gaza’s buildings have destroyed or damaged during Israeli bombardment. It added that 15 out of 36 hospitals in the strip are partially functioning. It maintained that more than 69 percent of school buildings in Gaza were damaged during the war.

According to the Arab media around 60,005 Palestinian were injured mostly women and children in the Gaza Strip. It maintained that more than 4,000 Palestinians were injured in the occupied West Bank during the conflict.  As per the media reports, around 1.8 million Palestinians were displaced due to war in the Gaza Strip. Similarly, 1,208 were displaced from the occupied West Bank.

On the other hand, hundreds of thousands of people are taking to the streets and roads across the world to protest against the war in Gaza. The protestors demanded an end to Israel’s offensive against the innocent people of Palestine.

At rallies in Kuala Lumpur, people gathered at the United States embassy to record their protest against the war in Gaza. Earlier, South Africa’s minister said that Israel has completely “failed to disprove” South Africa’s genocide case at the world court.

Justice Minister Ronald Lamola told the media in The Hague that Israel had failed to disprove South Africa as compelling that was presented before the ICJ.
