ASTANA: The Hungarian President Katalin Novak will visit Kazakhstan to attend Astana International Forum 2024, June, local media reported on Wednesday.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Zhanibek Abdrashov met with Kristóf Altusz, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Hungary. They discussed issues on the agenda of bilateral ties within the framework of the Kazakhstan-Hungary Strategic Partnership, a local news agency reported. Zhanibek Abdrashov informed the Hungarian diplomat regarding the progress of political and socio-economic reforms in Kazakhstan, investment policy, foreign policy situation, as well as the foreign policy activities of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
President of Hungary to Visit Kazakhstan Soon: Report
During the talks, they discussed the ways of implementing the results of the meeting which was organized last year in Astana between President Tokayev and PM of Hungary Viktor Orbán.
Kristóf Altusz also confirmed that President Novak will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan. After the negotiations, the diplomats also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic ties between the two nations and expressed confidence in further development of Kazakh-Hungarian ties in all sectors.
