TEHRAN: Iran has strongly condemned Israel’s deadly strike on the Houthi-controlled port of Al Hudaydah governorate in Yemen that killed six people and injured dozens more.

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani strongly condemned the attack adding that it was an expression of the aggressive behavior of the child-killing Israeli regime.

Israeli warplanes on Saturday attacked the vital port of Hudaydah in response to a deadly drone attack by Houthis on Tel Aviv, which killed one civilian. The Houthis have since warned of a “huge” retaliation against Israel.

Kanani said that Israel and its supporters, including the United States, were responsible directly for the unpredictable and dangerous consequences of the continued crimes in Gaza, as well as the attacks on Yemen.
